a poem I wrote for my grandpa's funeral |
| Heavenly father full of grace Had once again opened the golden gates To let another loved on in to love and treasure him once again. Too late to go back to his rightful place So hard to dry the tears from our face. It’s hard to say goodbye But with every thought of you, tears slowly fill my eyes. You’re the world’s greatest grandpa And your love and humor you gave it all. You opened your heart once again You’re a wonderful grandpa, husband, and friend!
