Mommy's Death

about alcohol abuse and what can come with it

Daddy is hurting mommy and I don't know what to do
Why is it that daddy wants mommy all black and blue?
Tears of pain and sorrow,
Will still be here today and tomorrow.
Daddy has been drinking more and more
making us feel as big as an apple core.
Daddy says mommy is cheating,
so he goes on beating.
Time goes by
and the only thing I can do is silently cry.
I wish daddy knew how much he's hurting me deep inside
but the only thing I'm able to do is stay away and hide.
Mommy's dead now and I don't know what to say and do,
just that I wish I could fly away with you.
Daddy is now in jail
and he can't even get out on bail.
I'm only seven
and mommy is living her life in heaven.
