Withered Existence

a bit of sadness..

It's there
taking me
over,
hiding me away
losing all I
once
had-
Just to be
by your side
fallen by
the wayside,
my spirit
cries for
a touch and
caress,
a calming
soothing water
to dip
my tired
being into-
But nothing hears
and I sit
in
withered
existence-
