Just rip my regret from my mind.
That's a fair request for leaving me behind.
Set me free, from my memories.

I thought that leaving was the easy part.
We all know I've done it before.
But when you took my life away,
I just crawled back, asking for more.

I was too busy living in tommorow
to pay attention to today.
I guess when you gamble
sometimes you gotta pay.

But, we both know the truth
