The Night without a Moon.

Read and think on this one.

I walked a dreary night without a moon,
coming to my house very soon.
As I walked I stopped to see a red crow fly,
any other bird around it would appear then die.
Following the bird to a feeding ground,
it stood there not making a sound.
Then the crow faded away into the eternal dark,
and at that moment all animals howl,blunt,and bark.
I walked back to my house knowing that I would be there soon,
walking in the night without a star or a moon.
