Does He Really Care

So many hurtful words have been said
Do you not realize that part of me feels dead

Like a robot day to day
You expect so much of me
And yet there is nothing I can say

I feel numb to everything around
My heart you have run so far into the ground

And yet you seem not to care
My words fall on defend ears

I have no one
No one in my life that really cares

God I need someone to listen
To be proud of who I am

To give me strength
And hold me like a man

To take charge
Instead of leaving everything up to me

I only have one question~
Does he really care about me?
