RAPE OF CONGO

“Who killed Patrice Lumumba?”
“I”, said the CIA
“in my clever way
so no one could say
it was the USA.
I killed Patrice Lumumba”.

And like the nursery rhyme of old
The story continues to unfold.

“Who installed Mobuto?”
“I”, said the West
“In my urgent quest
to do my very best
to lay the Reds to rest.
I installed Mobuto”.

So although the Colonials had gone
the theft of her resources went on.

“Who rapes her still?”
“Us”, said her nieghbours
with our Peace Keepers
because all our leaders
are her shareholders.
We rape her still”.

Et les meilleurs de ses fils avaient fuis pour echapere a la guerre.
