Rain Falls Down

Rain Falls Down while the Sun tries to save.

Rain falls down
like tears on my face
and all I can think about
is drowning in the flood.

The Sun tries to save me
but I push it away.
I want to save
myself instead.

Deep down I know that
I can't save me
So all I'm really doing
is giving up.

I float away in my
self-inflicted flood
wishing that my fears
would float away too.

I close my eyes
as I feel the pain go away,
my mind is going blank,
and my spirit floating away.
