What I look for in a poem or story.

Rain and tears,
Jewels and things,
Eyes and hair,
My heart sings.

Names with meanings,
Love that goes deep,
Wake up to sunshine,
It's dark when I sleep.

A play on words,
A few metaphors,
A nice description,
What I look for.

Things that hit home,
Things that rhyme,
Make me smile,
Time after time.

So write me a story,
Sing me a song,
Go on a journey,
Bring me along.
