Unexpected events
times to reflect
on the moments we share
as our minds connect

In the blink of an eye
life turns on it's side
there's nowhere to run
and nowhere to hide.

Letting fate take it's course
as we became one in flesh
a new life now in ours
our sad lives to refresh

The summer will come
for time never slows
the miracle now forming
as he or she grows
