about how we seem to gain and lose our powers, whatever they are

first, we have them
the powers
and we use them
but we lose them
then we rest
and we get wise
so we recover them
but lose them again
then get them back again
only to lose them again
and again
and again
until we can't
get wiser anymore
and so we stop
really stop this time
the real questions come
then true wisdom comes
true power beckons.
