My motivation

Sitting here all my regrets in line
wonder if it's too late to change my mind
Understanding the way I choose to live my life
there are some who have disagreed
as I took things into my own hands and changed my own fate
Don't know what the future holds
but now it's all weighing out in my head
My mind is full of my could have beens and I'll never get that chance again
Can't change what the past has held
now for me only time will tell
Life won't stop or even slow down, so pick up the pace and turn it around
No time to waste life's too short to hesitate
So here I sit as the world awaits
My could have beens help me to motivate
The earth's still revolving around as the steady sunlight streams down
lighting the way to a fresh new start
and I can wait to do my part.
