| I WANT TO BE A COWBOY I want to be a cowboy It’s not all that strange Just riding on the range To ride and break a wild bronco, of course To ride until the sunsets, on my horse I want to be a cowboy Riding on a cattle-drive With a pride that comes alive Plenty of sagebrush and cactus, in front of me Many mountains and flatlands, far as I can see I want to be a cowboy Don’t ask me why? I’ll have to try I’m going to be a cowboy |
