A poem I came up with about my grandfather I barely knew.

You
You Barely knew me
Still
Still you treated me
Treated me like I was
Like I was your own.

You
You didn't care
Didn't care I was adopted
Still you
You treated me like
Like I belonged

You
You barely knew me
And yet
Yet you cared
Cared and Loved
Loved me like your own
Your own flesh and blood
Yet I barely knew you.
