Moonlight Legend

I lay silently embracing the dark
the moon upon the sky and stars that give light spark
the illusion of darkness and light
will soon change to a great fight
even if the i lose to my demons inside
love and will would not be enough to hide
go ahead close your eyes
i dont have any answers but i have enough why's
a girl that held the knife to close to her heart
with one cut she could fall apart
and draw blood from this broken soul
just to make it through in this empty hole
a great scar placed upon her wrist
to remind her she is alive to see that she exist
as long as there's pain in this scar
we will lose this war
something that once was is now gone
and she fades into the arrival of dawn
