I really loved you, and I never wanted us to be apart.
I mean all of this from the bottom of my broken heart.

I wanted you to be there and like me from the start.
I guess you didn’t like me, that’s why I have a broken heart.

When we get back together I guess you write it on a chart.
You plan your days when you’re going to leave me with a broken heart.

You played your part and I thought I played mine.
I guess I didn’t play my part, that’s why I don’t have you to be mine.

I go around hurt as if I was bitten by a shark.
Love hurts worst because it leaves you with a broken heart…
