in the moonlight

my dreamscape of a beautiful evening

IN THE MOONLIGHT

the melody waltzed away into the night
floated on the air,took flight

twinkled on the waves,ebbed into the sea
showered down with the rain,drenched you and me

and slowly it faded away
but mesmerized i stood,held in the sway

and as your hand found mine
the music started one more time

seasons have since come amd gone
but the music still plays on

i can still picture it clear and bright
as i fell in love...dancing in the moonlight.
