To a Teacher

The teacher of our children
A special gem indeed
With never ending patients
As you plant your little seeds…

…seeds of knowledge, wisdom, and kindness
and what rewards you gain
to see our children blossom
as you teach and train

To teach them with enthusiasm
And encourage them to try
To always pose new questions
And have them find out why

And when the school is day is done
And home again they quickly run
With smiles on their little faces
And their little heart just races
Excited to share with mom and dad
The learning experience they just had
A teachers work is hard indeed
But through the children you will succeed and be fondly remembered because…

A special place is given
In our children’s heart
For that special teacher
Who played an active part…

…part of the growth and development
of the apples of our eyes
a lifelong impression
and some very special ties.
