Is this real, or just the flicker of a bad dream ?

Wipe away my tears.
This raging pain,
A swell of hurt and anger,
before I'm swept away.

Lost in this tide of emotion,
washed my every sense and thought.
Taken up it's chilling vengence,
soaked me through,
It's numbing embrace,
sink within it's watery depths.

Insanity,
wishing to be done.
Please...

Take me from this madness.
This crazy walking dream,
that drives me to my knees
in anguished screams.
