Fall and Winter...Leaves fighting to stay alive - ripped from brances by cold north wind. |
| Autumn's Leaves Must Fall By Richard Vance Autumn leaves that fall at last, rebel against the season’s charge, and cling to branches till the end, To lose a fight that never could be won. Ripped rudely from a summer’s perch, Form silhouettes against a blustery sky, And toss about on cold north winds No final resting spot devised To fall and land at nature’s will In random patterns on the ground the reds and yellows, orange, greens and brown the jigsaw puzzle’s parts commence. |
