I cried when I got out of bed today;
You were not lying there beside me.
I cried when I drank my coffee today;
You were not there to talk to me.
I cried when I saw the sunrise today;
You were not there to share it with me.
I cried when I came home today;
You were not there to hug and kiss me.
I cried when I ate dinner today;
You were not there to eat with me.
But I smiled when I opened the Book today,
For I know where you will always be with me.
