It is poem about desciding if you want to be with someone or not. Prism Poetry contest |
| Your glowing skin in the dark guides My thoughts to follow closely behind. My body tells me that I should stay But I think I'm going to follow my heart That is already right beside you. If I don't hurry up in a few seconds Your smell in the air will be gone. Cold air will swallow your left present. My prize for letting fear control my actions Will be nothing but a stale memory. Looking down at myself from the moon I can see you smiling as I speak to you. Laying down on a thick, warm beach towel With you is a goal I know can make possible Because I can see you accepting this dream. The alarm on my watch ring forces me to descide. My feet follow my heart; my thoughts to destination. Another time I will let fear take the wheel of this car, And drive me to a place where I know I am safe. Tonight my desire to explore unfimiliar ground Drives me to follow you to where you want me to be. |
