This piece was inspired by a sunset on a dark day.

Today I watched the sun go down.
Disintegrating behind the grey clouds,
Twilight murdered daylight.
Moonlight slaughtered sunlight.
A majestic sky, royal red-blood
Seeped into a sinful black and grey.
The death of the King in the clouds
As I too, drew my last breath.
