A poem incorporating significantly sentimental material items that hang on my wall. |
| We live our lives by the clock Rarely pausing to take stock Of emotions we project from deep within One more moment passed in time Leaving bits of poetic rhyme Rekindling our connection once again Consider now, black braided leather Carressing burgundy feathers And five red written letters on a mirror This reminder still remains Though disguised by its frame A reflection of enduring love for years In a rhythmic ebb and flow Waxing, waning, feel it grow This enchanted dance begun assumes control As in sync we two collide Carried by the waves we ride To enhanced communication soul to soul |
