This poem is about the turmoil of a cheating heart. |
| For The Unwitting Lover For the unwitting lover who knows none the better She gave her life and stood beside her man Thru the turmoils of life's ever changing seasons Yet He stepped outside and indeed did partake of another The day she felt this, she asked if it be true NEVER! Was the answer, I Only Love You! Yet as time blossomed, her heart did heed the warn "He is not with me as he foresworn." He crept outside the marital bound Yet again she asked and though the answer short, "Never!" Later, she crept to look outside the window of that marital bound There she found him, truth be told Another lover he behold... The undying pain of seeing her life, swirl before her eyes Way too much to take, under the ever changing skies With ANGER she YELLED With PAIN she SCREAMED With discourse on her breath, she burrowed her brow into the fold of her cloth With nothing left but the undying pain She walked alone... |
