Tears that didn't come, but now are here

Saddest Joy

As it seems i have no tears
This was the begining of all my fears
I was once happy and carefree
This has all gone on the count of three
How could this be!!
I thought no sorrow could ever touch me
I wish i could feel something other than pain
But all my thoughts and words are profane
I wish i could make it all go away
But we can't mold our lives like they were made of clay
All this came as quickly as you came and went
Apperantly none of this i can prevent
I finally feel a stinging in my eye
soon i realized that i could cry
The tears start to roll down my face
I've never felt so out of place
I looked for you but you were nowhere to be found
But when i saw you i didnt dare make a sound
You have given me the saddest joy
Even though it was all a ploy
For I have found something i thought was forever lost
Im glad to have no matter what the cost
Now I have a tear to shed
But as for you i have nothing to dread
