When i look to the sky

Based on a dream i had losing someone that ment alot to me

When i look to the sky,
I see the same cold,
Bitter Darkness with in me,
With the blanket of the night
Blown away,
Stars are revealed,
One by one they begin to move
And your face emerges,
Emerges from the night sky,
Shining down on me,
As if heaven's gates
Opened above me.
Your eye's looking down upon me,
Lifted the darkness from my heart,
When you spoke to me,
The bitter thoughts cleared from my mind,
When you held me in your arms,
The ice melted from my heart
You showed me what life is about,
You are the reason I know what love is,
You are the cause of all my pain,
The reason I cry at night
Just the thought of
Not being with you,
Not being able to hold you in my arms again,
Puts me to tears,
I still march on,
With the hope still burning in my heart
That one day we will be reunited
