One more year......


I'm still cancer-free.
Another year - making 8 for me.
I will celebrate each day of this life
as if all my dreams have come true.
So much to see and so much I plan to do.
Many more years to love my husband,
to tell the kids how proud I am of them.
Many more years to watch the sun rise and set..
for important people to grace my life whom I haven't met.
More years to see clouds in blue skies,
to smell the freshly cut grass and watch the butterflies.
Another year.....
I am cancer-free.
I thank my family, my friends and the powers that be.
