Animal Spirit

An animal/human elusive poem.

I feel like an animal
and I feel so wild,
This is not so normal
As I'm no longer a child.

Sly like a fox I feel
roaming around so free
I'm electric as an eel
And dizzy like a bee.

Bouncing like a monkey
on a tall tall tree,
looking as far as I can
just to picture what I see.

Making paths underneath
I feel like a blind mole
Below the five, six feet
with its head on a single goal.

Lazy as an elephant I travel
around the places I care,
I just feel everything serves to ravel
and most things aren't fair.

Free as a bird I came
roaming around my realm.
Now its not the same
as I'm wearing this prisoner helm.

Life as an animal is underated
with nothing so complicated,
But I'll remain as an human being
and when I see a lion, I'll start fleeing.
