His Name is Jesus

Because its Him who guides my life.

Time has passed

Things are different now

The past two weeks

Have me wondering how?



Who I wanted to be

Crushed before my eyes

And replaced by His

Plans for my life



Its not about me

It never has been

I tried to change that

Thats the downfall of men



We can't see everything

Now matter how hard we try

Without Him in our hearts

Everything is a lie



The reason I live

Here and today

Is not to make my life great

But to serve Him in all ways



I am not perfect

I work hard every day

To be more like Him

Although I stray away



I am ashamed at times

At the decisions I make

But I try to learn

And grow from mistakes



He changed my outlook

On my future plans

Changed how I thought

My I can'ts into cans



With Him all things are possible

Its hard to believe

Althought lifes a mess now

Its kind of a relief



Im tring not to worry

About what I have to do

Where I have to go

And how I will get through
