The rays of sunshine
Pouring through my window
I wonder why the world seems so perfect
Which I know its not
Children are so carefree
They don't carry the burnden of the world
I just wish I was like that again
So carefree and innocent
So oblivious to the dangers of the world
The rays of the moonlight
Glowing on my dark skin
I still dream of my knight in shinny armor
But I know my dreams won't come true
Except for one
That dream is meeting my true love
Thinking all this while i sat by window
As the rays of sunshine
Came pouring through
