An Angel's voice I heard today
Whispering of a land far away.
Hope and dreams distant to me
I have lived in wrath, and suffered, quietly
I listened and tried to hear every word
Making no sound, still, not stirring, I stood
I felt an impression, a gentle, touch to my heart.
My thoughts, for one moment, spoke to me and said "New start".
Give, I will, to the lonely and broken spirited mind
Children, I've heard your cries, your heart's I will find
I too ,am one of you, feeling your pain, I understand
Angel, my arms open, here, I stand, and will follow your plan.
An inspiration of hope I've witnessed today
