Cool breeze blows,
Silent river flows,
Young boy sits and dreams
Away a peaceful day.

Cold wind brings,
Hard rain stings,
Young girl sits and waits
Away a hurtful day.

Rhythmic sea lulls,
Warm night dulls,
Young boy and girl hold
Love for a while.

Cool breeze sighs,
Silent river dies,
Old man sits and dreams
Away a youthful day.

Cold wind grows,
Hard rain goes,
Old woman sits and waits
Away a dying day.

Rhythmic sea calls,
Warm night falls,
Old man and woman know
Love lasts afterwards.
