One's tormented life... coming to an end

Pain and Sorrow

From deep within,
The feeling of pain and sorrow begin.
Hollow laughter fills my ears,
Bringing nothing but more tears.
Past thoughts are all I possess,
None of them happy… all of them bring distress.

I continually fight,
Going nowhere day and night.
The fear from all these hated years,
Stays along with the laughter and jeers.
The constant cold… makes me cry,
All I want is to die.

The pain in my heart,
I know will never part.
It will never stop,
Until the day I drop.
This is the only way I know to live,
For I know now that I have nothing left to give.
