Teachers

This is my view of Teachers from the horse's mouth.

TEACHERS

They add the human touch to learning
Making learning come alive with their presence
Colouring our world with their animation
Using their magic wand to help us understand

Teachers come in all shapes and sizes
With different characters to each of them
Compassionate, kind, loving, tyrannical
Take your pick, we still love them all

Teachers are like our surrogate parents
We spend more time with them than at home
So we look to them for our moral support
Oft telling them more than we do our parents

Rapport with teachers is built early
Between parents and students
So the tripartite communication is open
To help the students adjust to school life
