Are you afraid of the night?, Children's poem |
| Go to sleep my little one. Lights go out, your day is done. Blanket shields from things that bite. Are you afraid of the night? Monsters roam, those bats soar high! What was that! Part man, part fly? Creepy things, oh what a fright! Are you afraid of the night? Time stands still, the dark lasts long. Screaming yells, what could be wrong? Reach to grab your pillow tight. Are you afraid of the night? Shadows roam across your wall. Creaking floors just down the hall. What is that? Where is the light! Are you afraid of the night? Close your eyes and go to sleep. Nothing's there, now not a peep. Mom and Dad don't know my fright. I AM afraid of the night! Written by S.S. Wieczorek |
