I wish you could have stayed here longer
I wish we could still be best friends
I wish that your time down here didn't have to end

I wish I could still see your face
And be there for you when you cry
But the thing I wish the most
Is that you were still alive


This poem is dedicated to Emma L. Stevens. She was a close friend of mine who died of cancer at the young age of 12. I understand that the nice people on this site who like to give people very helpful advice, but please don't give me any advice for this poem. If you like it, please write me and let me know.
