a short and sweet poem i wrote after my first date

The first time I looked into your eyes,
I knew that you were true.
I can hardly begin to believe
Everything I've been through with you.
That first touch,
My first kiss,
The first time I held your hand--
Ever since that magical moment,
I knew you were my man.
I thank the Lord every day
For bringing you into my life.
I've dreamt of this day,
But I never would've thought
That He would choose you
To bring it to life
