A Darkness

1st ever poem. I wrote a few years ago. Not very good. Don't be harsh please.

Around him, shatter's trust, betrayed.
Thoughtless words
Isolated in darkness, a darkness he made
Back in his shell he retires once more
Until he forgets and ventures again
Only to feel betrayed by a friend

One day he will end
The faint traces of his life like winters past
As he prays his broken heart will mend
He wonders how long his name will last.
