Attempt 2: A poem about enjoying a piteous sight. |
| Dancing in the theatre of Uncertainty, Married to the empty seats below. Crystal grace drowning her eyes; No one has yet emerged at her show. Soothing melody played by piano fantasy, Escorting her in her Lyrical Dansée. A presence permeates darkness eternal, Awaking her “Forgotten Romance”. She stops, reaching out fearful hands, “Where are you?” she pleads at an empty chair. She remains patient, but nothing occurs; Eyes now leaking in painful despair. Her ear-piercing screams fill the night, Echoes distantly accompany her and moan. She collapses onto the wooden floor, Feeling nothing but alone. I cruelly laugh at her ignorant thoughts. She can neither see nor hear me, My promise was kept; I’m here, Enjoying the sight once again, see? |
