The illusion of freedom causes doubt
But look and see time running out
They don't seem to care if we shout
As long as we stay silent
The Oval Office remains violent
With freedom on their lips our rights they steal
But look and see freedom isn't real
With indifference we hide behind fences
They keep raising taxes and expences
To keep us distracted from our senses
All we see are their steely stilettos
While billions are spent on their war of woes
And social security and free health are foes
Political posturing is fostering the daily decay of democracy
The media mafia mesmerizes us into a hypnocracy
Every day it becomes a little harder to see
That silence is destined to be our slavery
In a chorus of one voice let them hear
The only true felony is fear
We the people bring the future near
It is ours to choose how it is to appear
