Poem about desire for excitement when surrounded by peace - please rate and/or review! |
The Air of Peace The subtlety of splendor Drowning the views of many; A lone flower graces her ear, Harmonies flowing from all but one valley. The bosom of her surroundings, A blinding wall to friends and lovers; Hope continues searching for a home here, For all wanting has been lost. She has but a glimmer to hold onto For the souls in the valley Who know nothing of her calm That makes her breaths seamless. She breathes a little deeper, Wishing for a taste of the poisonous clamor, Pulsing her heart And tingling her veins. |
