I dream of a place

I wrote this when I was really down and missed loved ones who have left this world

I dream of a place
where the rain never falls
the sun is always shining bright
and there's never a fight
everybody gets along with other people
and everything around me is peaceful
everybody lives together in harmony
and there's nobody around to hate on me

I dream of a place
where nobody's fake
everybody's real,
and always says how they feel
where there's nobody who betrays you
nobody who stabs you in the back
no one who lies to you
no person to pick a fight with you

I dream of a place
where i get to see your face
the memories live on
but the fact remains that you're gone
i can't wait until we meet again
it's been too long

I dream of a place
where there's no such thing as pain
where I have no worries
and no reason to complain
as of right now
this place only exists in my head
but I'll find out if it's real
one day when I'm dead
