This is a poem, once again about love, but love lost, not received. |
| She talks to me when I’m asleep With her words I begin to weep She tells me she loves me, She tells me she cares But when I wake up She is no longer there. I wish I could see her Just one last time, To hold her close to me To have her be mine I know it’s a lot to ask I know that it’s not fair But how can I not love her, How can I not care? She is so special to me She is my heart and soul, I wish that I could hold her Until we both grow old How can I make it work? How can I make it right? How can I be with her forever? Every day and night The answer is simple It cannot possibly be, How can I still love her When she does not love me? |
