A poem about life, death and beyond |
| TRANSPARENT SOULS By Richard Vance Transparent souls across the great divide have finally found the truth, the way, tranquility divine. From vantage point beyond the veil or mist, they travel not by vehicles well known by man, but through the streams of light, of thought, of consciousness, to those in need, or simply missed. A speck of light, a gentle breeze, or butterfly may show a scene, epiphany, or maybe just to give a nudge. From visions clear despite what living eyes can’ t see, some messages get through with ease, and possibly a well known voice, a helping hand, an apparition’s fleeting sight, can show that love survives, both here and there. From those assured and skeptics too, all will cross into the light with souls we knew so well, have met but once, or not all. Sometimes appear so brief, but none the less, to show the way, or possibly a glimpse of what they did not learn while here, or make a difference, write a book, to hold a child’s hand, to look, at what’s important, or maybe what we overlook. |
