Like I Knew You Would....

It's from me to one of my friends, only the part at the bottom is from her to me:)

You tell me that everything will be ok, and that I'll live to see another day.
But, in someways, I feel like you say it just for friendship's sake.
Like you'll do whatever it takes to bring a smile to my face. But I guess I owe you a thanks, because these lies are better then the truth.
So, in lies and in truth, through the bad and the good,
you've been the best of friends like I knew you would.
