Pretend

This has happened to me and i no it has happened to lots of people.

It hurts to smile and
Pretend like everything's ok
You know the truth now
So why pretend that you don't?
I still feel the same
And i'm afraid that's not going to change
You broke my heart
And i gave you the pieces
For my heart belongs to you
But yours to another
I wish i could change that
But things will all work out in the end
Even if its means getting hurt along the way
