i am a hostage to my own humanity
i don't know what to do
for my feelings hide within me

tear me from my head
because of the pain that i face

tear me form my brain
for i'm losing my place

tear me from my heart
so hard and so cold

tear me from my soul
so ugly and bold

tear me from my bones
so broken inside

tear me from my veins
for my life is a lie

go on
