Time to Apologize

Dark poem I wrote on a happy day in Theater Arts Class

My heart has grown darker
My soul has whithered
And my sanity has faded away
I'm floating in darkness
I'm sinking in pain
And I'm drowning in my sins
I've done terrible things
I've told terrible lies
And I've killed myself inside
It's time for me to do right
It's time to take a break
And it's time for me to apologize
Apologize to my family
Apologize to my friends
And apologize most of all to -
God
I hope he can forgive me
