Perseverance

A reminder to not let other's bad attitudes stop you.

I don't have enough of what it takes,
But I am going to do it anyway.

No one is putting their money on me.
So a lot of people are going to lose.

People may not think that I am in the running,
But I am going to win the race.

I have crossed the line, the point of no return.
I cannot look back now.

Head up, eyes on the goal.
I am going to persevere.

I will confess and profess the hope that lies within me.

It is in my heart, my mind, my spirit,
If you take a moment to look, you will even see it in my eyes.

It is my future, my time, my era.
I have come, and I will go on.
